Dear Readers,

Today we have a few options to choose from with regard to further working on our reading strategies.

1. You may return to previous posts you have not yet read through and responded to from last week.

2. You may work on vocabulary skills.

3. You may work on comprehension skills.

4. You may work on reading strategies.

For each of the above links, to get to the section you will be working on, please follow the directions below:

1. Click "start session" in the center of the page, written in blue.
2. Where it says "select a subject" choose either "vocabulary," "reading for understanding," or "reading strategies."
3. Where it says "select a skill level," choose intermediate (this is for middle school grades).

After completing the today's lesson, respond to the following question IN YOUR READING JOURNAL

Reading Response Question: Please explain why you chose the activity you worked on today and describe how it was or was not helpful in pursuing your overall goal of becoming a better reader.
